Meet the team

Kris Hanson
Founder / Product Specialist

Kris has been in the flooring industry for about 25 years, starting as an installer on a crew, then running a crew, then moving into the sales and advisory role for multiple custom home builders and scheduling multiple crews, until finally founding North Texas Flooring Solutions.
He still does this because he loves whole process involved in providing hardwood flooring, from changing a raw piece of lumber to a finished surface that provides value in the form of comfort and happiness to a client for years to come.

Doug Mercer
Director of Operations

Doug’s journey to flooring began – now follow me here – as a Software Engineer in the defense industry, followed by Project Management and getting an MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business, after which he transitioned to becoming a Business Development Executive for a small sales technology startup, leading to eCommerce Management for a large company in the travel industry, which obviously transitions quite easily to Operations for a small startup in the Regenerative Medicine field, and finally landed on his feet as Director of Operations with North Texas Flooring Solutions.

Jess Eaton
Director of Customer Success

Jess dove headfirst into the flooring industry in 2022 after several years as an art educator. Her passion for art, design, and helping others lead her to her role at North Texas Flooring Solutions. She strives to help homeowners and builders find designs and solutions that will best suit their needs through honesty and communication.
